1.4 IDEV main menu options (User Interface)

Current information on foreign trade statistics - renaming of the IDEV-forms from August 23, 2022!

From August 23, 2022, the reports on foreign trade statistics - intra and extra trade - will be transmitted under a common access. This results in a change in the layout of the user interface "For which one of the following statistics would you like to report?". "Foreign trade" is prefixed to each option, this is followed by a capital letter and then the familiar reporting-form. For reporting, please continue to select the form of reporting that you have used up until now. There have been no changes to the respective forms. The capital letters "A" to "F" are only used for sorting. Detailed information on the respective reporting form is available in the relevant chapters of these help pages. Information about the newly added form "Application for simplified reporting" you will find in Chapter 9 of this help pages.

  • Report menu option

    The Report menu leads the user to the forms for statistics which he can report for.

    The IDEV intra-Community trade declaration system encompasses several types of declaration:

    Foreign trade - A - Form declaration for intra-Community trade statistics

    Foreign trade - B - Form declaration by third parties for intra-Community trade statistics

    Foreign trade - C - Correction form for intra-Community trade statistics

    Foreign trade - D - File declaration for intra-Community trade statistics

    Foreign trade - E - Extra-trade file-declaration

    Foreign trade - F - application for simplified declaration

  • Report history menu option

    The Report history dialog provides an overview of all reports the logged-in user has already submitted.

    The IDEV report history includes all intra-Community trade data (of the relevant type of declaration) transmitted by the declarant during the current and the previous calendar year. You can choose the type of declaration for which your account should be shown by clicking on the relevant item in the box provided for this purpose. Accounts are given for the following types of declaration:

    "Foreign trade - A - Form declaration for intra-Community trade statistics"

    "Foreign trade - B - Form declaration by third parties for intra-Community trade statistics"

    "Foreign trade - C - Correction form for intra-Community trade statistics"

    "Foreign trade - D - File declaration for intra-Community trade statistics"

    "Foreign trade - E - Extra-trade file-declaration"

    "Foreign trade - F - application for simplified declaration"

    Information on the data transmitted is provided in an overview depending on the type of declaration selected. In addition, various menu options are available to view, correct or cancel data that were already transmitted. The options in place to correct or cancel data are explained in detail in Chapter 5.

  • Manage user data menu option

    The Manage user data menu offers functions to edit user data stored in the system.

    The following submenu items are provided:

    Change address

    The register card shows the name, address and similar data of the declarant. If required, changes can be made to the data and subsequently be transmitted to the Federal Statistical Office by clicking on the Send button. The changes will be accepted after an internal checking procedure and hence be displayed later.

    Change password

    You can change your password here.

    Consolidations

    Use this option to consolidate several IDEV user identifications assigned by the Federal Statistical Office. Existing consolidations and users that have been consolidated with the logged-in user can be displayed in an overview dialog. In this dialog, it is also possible to deactivate any existing consolidation of users, for example when users want to submit their statistics reports themselves again in the future.

    Company registrations

    Here can create the third parties to register other businesses responsible for providing information for the purpose of intra-Community trade statistics.

    The register card shows the names and similar data of the parties responsible for providing information that were entered previously. Changes can be made to the data and subsequently be transmitted to the Federal Statistical Office by clicking on the Send button. The changes become active after 10 minutes.

    If a reporting agent (responsible for providing information) is deleted, the data reported are not displayed in the Report history.
