6 File declaration for intra-Community trade statistics
The IDEV file declaration for intra-Community trade statistics permits a simple upload of declaration files in the INSTAT/XML-format (.XML extension).
Using the report history provided for File declarations for intra-Community trade statistics, you can cancel or replace files you have already transmitted (see chapter 5.2).
How to proceed
Select the relevant declaration file from the directory and enter the relevant reference period.
With the button "Send" the file is transmitted in encrypted form. After successful transmission, you will receive a transmission report.
After successful transmission, you will receive a transmission report. To compile another declaration, use the button "New". Via the "Leave form" button, the form processing can be terminated and the form will be exited.

Test files in the INSTAT/XML-format also have to send under "Foreign trade - D - File declaration for intra-Community trade statistics" in IDEV. This should contain at least 10 practice-related data sets from the current or the previous year. The material number must be specified with "XGTEST". After the test file has been checked successfully, a five-digit alphanumeric material number is assigned. In productive operation, this material number is to be used instead of the character string "XGTEST".
Test files in the DatML/RAW-format must be send about the central data input from eSTATISTIK.core under https://core.estatistik.de/core/ (only in the German language). For that .Core-ID and .Core-password are needed. If the access data are not present, you must request this data under https://core.estatistik.de/core/registrierung (only in the German language).
Files in ASCII format will no longer accept!
For users who currently submit their data in ASCII format, we urgently recommend switching to the XML formats approved in intra-Community trade statistics INSTAT/XML and DatML/RAW. There is also the option of importing the data in CSV format.
More information on this are only available at the German help page at chapter 10.4 "Fragen zur Ablösung des ASCII-Formats" https://www-idev.destatis.de/idev/doc/intra/hilfe10_4.html and in the respective chapters at this help page.
The sending of declarations via e-mail is not permitted for privacy reasons. Basically, files sent in this way are not checked or further processed by us!
