7.2 Program download

The IDES Intra-Community Trade Data Capture Software can be downloaded directly from the internet. Observe the installation notes on Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8 or 10 in the installation and update description (only in the German language). The installation process takes place in several steps:

1. Click on Download to load onto your computer all files in a compressed form which are required for installation. If you use a modem, downloading the files may take some minutes. Save the w3statv18_0.zip file on your hard disk (example: C:\own files) and extract (unpack) the file into a directory of its own (example: C:\own files\w3statv18_0).

2. Start the installation with Setup.exe:

Double-click on the Setup.exe file in the previously created directory (example: C:\own files\w3statv18_0) to start the installation program. During installation you will be informed of the individual installation steps. Furthermore, you will be asked to provide information, such as the name of the directory into which IDES is to be installed.

3. You will be informed when the installation has been successfully completed. During the installation, entries will be made in the Start menu to start the IDES Intra-Community Trade Data Capture Software. The program can be launched using the Programs menu.
