9 Application for simplified reporting

Simplified declaration of assortments of goods in accordance with Section 30 AHStatDV subject to official approval.

 

Some of the commodity codes in Chapter 99 of the Commodity Classification for Foreign Trade Statistics may only be used with the special permission of the Federal Statistical Office. The commodity codes concerned are marked accordingly in the Commodity Classification for Foreign Trade Statistics.

If certain requirements are met, the Federal Statistical Office may authorize the use of a collective commoditiy code for the statistical declaration of assortments of goods.

An assortment of goods must contain at least three different goods, which are classified with different commodity codes in the Commodity Classification fo Foreign Trade Statistics and are imported or exported together.

In order to recive approval for the use of a collective commodity code, the foreign trade volume of the applicant in the revious calender year must not exceed the statistical value of 3 million euros for the rexpective direction of trade.

Notice:

Under the authorization free collective goods numer 9990 99 30, goods traffic extraterritorial organizations/corporations as well as delivieries from German ships in foreign ports, among other things, can be delcared for statistics.
